Biotechnology is a general term referring to the use of scientific principles and engineering principles to influence specific processes in living organisms for the purpose of transforming human health or the environment.
Many scientists around the world are on a quest to better understand genes and their traits. Thousands of genes in hundreds of species are being studied right at this moment. However, before any scientist begins the quest, he or she must understand that DNA is the genetic material of living organism, and nucleotides are the building blocks of DNA. Are you ready for the quest?
